Central Lakes

» Who’s in — Alexandria, Brainerd, Fergus Falls, Rocori, St. Cloud Apollo, St. Cloud Tech, Sartell, Sauk Rapids, Willmar.

» Who’s out — Little Falls.

» What’s different — No Little Falls means the schedule remains imbalanced with not everyone playing everyone else.

» What’s the same — Bemidji and Moorhead will continue to be scheduled in all sports, but not compete for a conference title.

» What’s coming — Grand Rapids becomes part of the football schedule in 2012, but will not compete for the conference title. Grand Rapids plays a Wright County Conference schedule this season.

Granite Ridge

» Who’s in — Foley, Little Falls, Milaca, Mora, Princeton, St. Cloud Cathedral and Zimmerman

» Who’s out — No one.

» What’s different — Well, everything. It’s a brand-new conference, made up of four refugees from the West Central (Foley, Milaca, Mora and Cathedral), two from the Mississippi 8 (Princeton and Zimmerman) and one from the Central Lakes (Little Falls).

» What’s the same — It’ll seem a lot like the old Rum River to old-timers, with four members from that old conference (Foley, Milaca, Mora and Princeton).

» What’s coming — Albany and Becker become members in the 2012-13 school year.

West Central

» Who’s in the North Division for football — Albany, Melrose, Minnewaska, Montevideo, New London-Spicer, Sauk Centre.

» Who’s in the South Division for football — Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City, Benson, BOLD, Lac qui Parle Valley, Morris, Paynesville, Yellow Medicine East.

» Who’s in the North Division for everything else — Albany, Melrose, Minnewaska, New London-Spicer, Paynesville, Sauk Centre.

» Who’s in the South Division for everything else — Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City, Benson, BOLD, Lac qui Parle Valley, Montevideo, Morris, Yellow Medicine East.

» Who’s out — Long Prairie-Grey Eagle.

» What’s different — Long Prairie-Grey Eagle left for the Prairie Conference; Cathedral, Foley, Milaca and Mora left for the Granite Ridge. It made the conference reshuffle its alignments for everything.

» What’s the same — Not much and it will change some more in 2012-13.

» What’s coming — Albany leaves in 2012-13 for the Granite Ridge and New London-Spicer joins the Wright County. In 2012-13, Melrose becomes an independent but hopes to be assigned a conference by the Minnesota State High School League. The West Central is one of the possible places for Melrose.

GBH Ciders Driftwood aka "Drifter" is a 4 year old thickly built gelding. bred for cows. can go anyway you want. I was going to use him for roping but just dont have the time to work with him like I would like. had 30 days put on him and hasnt bucked since. I did a little bit if riding on him this winter and he did great. he's starting to neck rein and short lope off, would pull logs behind him and sure footed. he's a little shy but once you get his trust he will do anything for you. left him in the pasture for a month went out to go riding and he never even offered to buck even after sitting for a while. is good with other horses, he is NOT pushy at feeding time good disposition and great color he is UTD on all shots and wormer, he has a negative coggins. he stands for shots, farrier work, bathing and clipping, and loads and unloads great. asking $3000 but price will go up with the more training he gets. will start working him on cows this fall. more pictures available check out his pedigree at http://www.allbreedpedigree.
